A report by Cybermedia Research (CMR) has revealed that the iPhone and iPad have been running quite well in India. In Q2 2022, iPhone registered 94% growth in-year-year while iPad has a growth of around 34%. CMR has also provided a list of the best -selling iPhone and iPad models in Q2 2022. Here are the popular iPads and iPhone among Indian buyers.
iPhone 12: 41% market share
iPhone 12 was launched in September 2020 but it is still strong because Q2 has around 41% of the market share.
iPad (Gen 9-Model Wi-Fi): 52% of the market share
Not surprisingly for the iPad entry-level is the best seller in India. Starting from Rs 30,999, this is the most affordable iPad that you can get.
iPhone 13: 32% market share
IPhone 13 is clearly a cellphone that is quite popular among buyers because it seized a 32% market share in Q2 2022 in India.
iPad Air (2022-Model Wi-Fi): market share of 18%
Ipad water sitting comfortably between iPad Entry-level and Premium Ipad Pro. The 2022 iPad air model is powered by the M1 processor, making it the most affordable M1 device that you can buy.
iPhone 11: 17% market share
Launched in 2019, iPhone 11 clearly still has many takers because it is the third most popular iPhone among Indian buyers.
iPad (9th Gen Wi-Fi + Cellular): 10% market share
The Wi-Fi + cellular variant of the iPad Entry-level is the third most popular iPad in India. The 9th gene variant starts from RS 40,999.
iPhone 13 Pro: 4% market share
A smaller brother in the iPhone 13 Pro series seems to be preferred than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. IPhone 13 Pro captures around 4% market share, according to CMR.
iPad Pro (2021-Model Wi-Fi): 10% market share
The best iPad offered by Apple also has several takers. Starting from Rs 71,999, iPad Pro (2021) is powered by the M1 processor and has a dual rear camera setting.
iPhone 13 Pro Max: market share 3%
The most expensive iPhone that you can buy in India collects about 3% market share – Indicator that ‘vanilla’ iPhone ordered more attention from buyers. Wi-Fi + cellular variants of 2022 iPad Air are also quite popular among Indian buyers because they have 4% market share.
