July has become one of the hottest months recorded in most Europe. Britain in particular has been gripped by intense heat waves with an average temperature higher than what happened in decades. Naturally, it is difficult for people who are generally not used to the heat that is so strong.
It seems that smartphone batteries have difficulty overcoming higher temperatures too. The popular YouTuber has shown that the battery in three of his Samsung phones has “exploded” because of heat waves. However, there may be more here than filling the eyes.
Samsung phones can handle hot temperatures very well
Arun Maini alias MrWhosetheboss on Youtube does not need to be introduced. He is a very popular technology YouTuber who routinely reviews smartphones from Samsung and other manufacturers. Maini tweeted that the battery on three of her Samsung phones has exploded during this new British heat wave.
The pictures he shared showed that Maini had used the words “exploded” freely because the battery seemed swollen, and we could see that this was all devices that were at least three years old. Swollen batteries are a common problem in most old cellphones, regardless of whether they are made by Samsung or not. Even an old iPhone with swollen batteries is not uncommon.
As a technological observer, Maini will clearly have countless old devices, so the claim is that there are no other telephone calls that meet the same attractive fate. What especially about Samsung phones that cause this swollen battery?
It is also impossible that the battery in each of these three phones comes from one supplier. However, the premise is interesting and we have to ask, does this new heat wave do something similar to your old cellphone?
Although we have to mention here that millions of people around the world use Samsung phones in areas that consistently have a hotter temperature than the British experience this month. People in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, etc. do not randomly find a battery in their Samsung mobile phones that are swollen due to temperature.
However, we have reached Samsung to take this problem. Obviously, there is no reason to worry here. Surely there is a reasonable explanation for what happens to the Maini device.
