Sita Ramam produced by Swapna Cinema, presented by Vyjayanthi Movies, and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi is ready for large release on August 5. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the main role. On this occasion, we met with music director Vishal Chandrasekhar for a short chat. This is the transcript.
The reason behind giving an extraordinary album to confiscate Ramam?
The story of this film is extraordinary. Director Hanu Raghavapudi wrote a fantastic story that has a good situation that requires songs. If the music is good, the story needs to demand music. One of the films is Sita Ramam. The plot made me give me extraordinary music. I had previously worked with Hanu Raghavapudi for Leche Manasu rice. The way he develops his story is extraordinary.
What is the difference between Sita Ramam and other films about music?
I have never done music that is rich in this way before. Sita Ramam’s music will be very rich. I have made this film organically. Many studies have been conducted for songs in this film. The foundation is done to find out how the songs were in the telugu cinema during the 60s and 80s.
Which music director inspired you?
Ranjit Barot. He works with Prabhdeva for the Tamil film named VIP. The music really inspired me. Initially I thought it was Ar Rahman who compiled a particular film. Then I knew it was a barot ranjit. But he did not continue after that. He is the old colleague of Ar Rahman as a drummer.
Which director do you want to work?
I want to work for the film Mysskin. I am ready to work with any director who wrote a good story. As far as I know if the music needs to be good, the content must also be good.
Tell me about your future projects?
I am in a conversation for a film with Madhavan Sir.
