The new documentary film Netflix described the founder of the antivirus to become the fugitive of John Mcafee and his life in the escape after becoming a suspect in the murder of his neighbor 2012 in Belize (through the deadline). McAfee asked the film crew to document his experience when he avoided the authorities – and the Mexican cartel, apparently.
The documentary, called Running with the Devil: The Wild World of John Mcafee, has a video journalist who was thrown into a quail wind, Mcafee’s life. With weapons, drugs, and alcohol behind him, the group crossed Belize and Guatemala and somehow ended on the ship to Bahama.
Saying McAfee has an interesting history will underestimate. After making a name for himself as the creator of the McAfee Antivirus software company – which was obtained by Intel in 2021 – things began to decline when the police were belize giving him an interesting person in the murder of his neighbor, Gregory Faull. Since then, Mcafee’s actions have become stranger: he entered Crypto; trying to run for president; And even developing a “hack-hack” phone. In 2020, he was arrested in Spain for tax embezzlement and was later found dead in prison cells before he was extradited to the US. His death was ordered to commit suicide.
Running with the devil will arrive at Netflix on August 24. This was produced by Studio British Curious Films, whose founder, Dov Freedman, told the deadline that the film had “10 years in manufacturing.” This is not the first time John McAfee has been the subject of documentary film; In 2016, Showtime produced Gingo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee.
